Cigarette Case

A vintage metal tobacco tin produced by Café Crème by Henri Wintermans, Netherlands, dating from the second half of the 20th century (circa 1970s–1990s) and originally designed to hold Café Crème Arôme cigarillos. Made of lithographed tinplate with a square shape and rounded corners, it features a warm gradient color scheme of red, orange, and yellow ochre, with the Café Crème logo in white serif lettering on a red band, a stylized coffee cup above a golden world map, and an illustration of a lit cigarillo on the lid.

This vintage medical tin from the mid-20th century dates approximately from the 1930s–1950s and was used to hold Regesan Catarrh Pastilles, medicinal lozenges marketed in the United Kingdom for relief of colds, bronchitis, hay fever, and respiratory discomfort. Made from lithographed tinplate, the tin features an Art Deco-inspired design with a deep black background, a geometric red cartouche, and cream-gold decorative details. The lid preserves the original branding and medical advertising text, reflecting the style of British pharmaceutical packaging and healthcare advertising from that period.
