This art was created by the famous artist Maqbool Fida Husain ( MF Hussain) it is the famous egg like cartoon Character Humpty Dumpty. This cartoon started During the English Civil War, history says, a one-eyed gunner named Thompson managed to get a cannon – colloquially called Humpty Dumpty , to the top of the tower of St Mary at the Walls church and wreak untold destruction on the forces below, before return cannon fire dislodged the pair of them. By now, most of us are familiar with his signature brushstroke on canvas. but as the world is discovering now, it is his earliest works of art wood crafted toys for children where the legendary painters style first came to life. Also began designing wooden toys. Hussain worked with a furniture shop for 6 years a period during which his salary increased from 6 to 300 he continued making toys even after he quite the job in 1947. in 1975, Hussain tried again to recreate the magic of the wooden toys, using Styrofoam, even experts in the field don t know how to many those toys Hussain made. I was inspired by the summertime colors when i was living in the UK. Whereas at the same time I was thinking about how can I blend that with a touch of terror or danger which yet can be conceived in a good perception. The main goal was to mix happy vibes with fear and show those feelings towards the colors in the middle of the darkness, however displayed in a threatening object, the lion. It’s basically to say that even when you’re scared of something and are stressed out, you can still see the bright side of the situation. was purchased on the 25th of July 2024
