Recently, Faber-Castell started another plantation project in Colombia, which combines ecological and social objectives.

Formed in the early 1920’s by Harry Burnham this Fine English manufacturer produced some Well made yet inexpensive pens. Throughout it’s history Burnham constantly competed with Conway Stewart and is best known for high quality Red Ripple pens of the ’30s and beautiful Marble effect plastic pens of the ’40s and ’50s The Company ceased trading in the mid 1960s

The Waterman pen company is a major manufacturer of luxury fountain pens. Established in 1884 in New York City by Lewis Edson Waterman, it is one of the few remaining first-generation fountain pen companies, as Waterman S.A.. Since 2000 it has been owned by the American group Newell Brands subsidiary Sanford L.P.

This is Edacoto fountain pen, La Marino De Qualite, made in France, marble black and pink barrel and cap with golden ring and clip. The nib marked warranted first quality 14CT gold plated. Purchased by RAF during his London Trip on July 2-19, 2019. Edacoto is one of the main historic French brands, the company s origins are uncertain but before the First World War. It was founded as a manufacturer of mechanical pencils, entering fountain pens market after a collaboration with Aurora since the 30s. The Edacoto pens are characterized by a general average quality, and although the company has never been reported for special contributions or innovative styling, the validity of its products has ensured the success and is still popular with collectors.
