Description:
The Kodak Colorburst 250 is a vintage instant camera manufactured by Kodak between 1979 and 1982, known as one of the company’s early integral instant film models to feature a built-in electronic flash. Released in July 1979 as Kodak’s response to Polaroid’s instant cameras, it uses discontinued Kodak PR-10 or PR-144 instant film and includes a fixed-focus 100mm f/12.8 lens for simple point-and-shoot photography. Powered by four AA batteries, it supports motorized film ejection and flash operation. This camera also represents an important moment in photography history, as Kodak’s instant camera production ended after a patent lawsuit brought by Polaroid, leading to the discontinuation of Kodak instant products in the mid-1980s.
