This is a vintage hand grinder, also known as a hawan or mortar and pestle. It is used for grinding and crushing food, spices, or herbs. The mortar (the bowl) is made of wood, and the pestle (the tool) is made of stone. It shows signs of age with visible cracks, giving it a rustic, old-fashioned look. and was obtained by the AL Faraj Gallery on the 13th of October 2024
