Description:
Aldo Crini, born in Florence in 1947, is a self-taught Tuscan ceramic artist known for using the traditional colombino coil technique. His works combine clay with materials like iron and twine, often reflecting mythological and archaeological themes. Crini’s sculptures feature soft, flowing forms with rich surface textures such as sgraffito and layered glazes. His collection, highlighting nearly 50 years of work, was personally selected by RAF during his trip to Italy in June 2025.
