Description:
This is antique Indo-Persian or Mughal weapon. It has a curved blade made from Damascus steel, characterized by its wavy pattern. The blade features engraved decorations, including a gilded floral motif near the hilt. The hilt is crafted with a curved handle and a carved pommel shaped like a stylized animal s head, a design commonly seen in daggers from this region. Such daggers served both functional and ceremonial purposes and were often worn as part of traditional attire or presented as symbols of rank. it was obtained by the Al Faraj Gallery on the 5th of October 2025.
