Description:
This Churchill Blue Willow coffee pot features the classic Georgian shape and showcases the iconic Blue Willow pattern, a Chinese-inspired design created around 1790. The pattern depicts a scenic landscape with a willow tree, a pagoda, a bridge with three figures, a boat, and two flying birds. Made from English ironstone (earthenware), it was manufactured by Churchill China, a British company established in 1795. While designed for coffee due to its taller, narrower shape, it is sometimes also referred to as a tea or chocolate pot.
