This vintage ceramic ashtray was made for Tokyo’s Akasaka Misono Steak House and features a hand-painted abstract fish design in blue, red, green, and brown with a crackle-glazed finish. The base often bears the restaurant’s name, location, and a phone number. Popular with tourists from the mid-century through the 1980s, it’s a collectible piece from a restaurant famous for Teppanyaki dining.
