Description:
This is an antique French-style beveled glass pocket watch holder or trinket vitrine, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. It features thick, clear glass panels with angled edges encased in an ornate, decorative brass or ormolu frame with classical patterned feet. Inside sits its original tufted pink silk cushion, which was specifically designed to safely cushion a pocket watch overnight, protecting it from dust and scratches while beautifully displaying the watch face so the owner could easily read the time.
