Husain is a writer and photographer. Born in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1964, he received his Masters Degree in Manuscript Cultures in the year 2000 from the Bahrain University. Between 2012 and 2017, he participated in the Middle East Photograph Preservation Initiative (MEPPI).

He has held two (2) Photo Exhibitions, 2005 called Paradise Market at the Art Center and in 2022 called Garden of Gemstones at the Fold Art Space, Kingdom of Bahrain.

He has published several short stories and novels including 2001 Dareeh Al Maa, 2006 Qandah, 2008 Hawwam, and 2017 Semahoay.

He believes that in In every artist, there is a Poetry.
In very human being, there is a poetic element. We know, we feel, we believe. As knowers, we are like the scientist relating through logical determination. As feelers, we are like poets relating the unrelated through intuition. As believers, we are only accepting our human limitations.

This is a photograph featuring the Sons of Amina highlighting on the eldest son Abdulla Bin Khamis. He is one the subject of Mr. Mahrooz latest exhibition and book titled "Garden of Gemstones".

He said "I was born in the garden, lived in it, and will die in it."
