This is a vintage Dr. Grabow De Luxe smoking pipe, part of a series produced by the American brand since the 1930s. The De Luxe line was offered in a natural variegated grain finish and may feature a two-dot, circle, or shield logo on the shank. Pre-1944 Dr. Grabow pipes were stamped with a four-digit code indicating the model and shape and were available in Special, Supreme, and De Luxe versions. Dr. Grabow pipes are manufactured in Sparta, North Carolina, using a 6mm filter and a pre-smoked process to initiate the break-in. Vintage models like this are recognized for their construction quality and consistency within the production standards of the era. Smoking is harmful to health.
