Description:
This is a vintage Dr. Grabow Viking tobacco smoking pipe. The pipe is recognizable by its aluminum body and a removable bowl. Dr. Grabow Viking pipes were similar in design to Falcon brand pipes, leading to a copyright dispute that Falcon won. The Viking pipes use a different thread for their bowls than the Falcon brand.

The pipe is no longer in production, but vintage estate pipes are available for purchase from various online sellers.

This particular model features a red bowl, which was also offered in other colors like green and blue. It has a metal stem with multiple fins designed for cooling the smoke. A small chamber below the bowl collects moisture and tar, resulting in a cooler and drier smoke.
