He obtained his Master of Fine Arts at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka as well as in University of Tsukuba, Japan where he learned the technique and realized the concept of Sumi painting and contemporary Japanese print making.
He had a series on individual exhibitions in Japan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bahrain, Spain, and USA. Likewise, he participated in group exhibitions in Japan, Bangladesh, USA, Maldives, Turkey, Switzerland, and India. Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Drawing and Painting, Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka.
